Lights up on Stephanie admiring the new digs -- an entire underground workplace given to her by Batman, Inc. for her to work independently as Batgirl. She also has a cool new friend as her off-sides assistant, and a new car: The Compact! But she doesn't have a lot of time to waste, as she has both class and a limited amount of time to catch a guy named Slipstream, who is attempting to steal a whole load of money that is about to be decommissioned and done away with on behalf of a group called the Reapers.
Later, Stephanie runs out of class immediately after her classmate, who she realizes has been Slipstream the entire time...she just never knew. :'| She chases him down into the underground protection tunnels that were started after an event called the 'Cataclysm,' that were finished sometime after that occurred. After almost getting shot by the cops in the armored cars, Stephanie manages to corner Slipstream and fights it out with him....sort of. You see, she knows that he's too speedy for her to actually hit, so she just holds out her hands and slaps a bunch of those magma-electro-gooparangs onto him. Slipstream is shocked, held in place, and then gooed to the floor.
Steph, of course, does a touchdown dance!! Which she relates later to the handsome Detective Nick, as they sit on top of a building, watching Slipstream get taken off to Arkham. Nick mentions that the Reapers gave Slipstream an offer he couldn't refuse, and when Steph presses him to explain, he just says he "was one of them," presses a paperclip in the shape of a bat into her hand, and disappears.

+ 500 awe that something is going right for her :o her most recent (significant) Batgirl memory is one of Dick telling her that she's not cut out for this job!
• She also knows that Bruce Wayne is officially alive! Since you know, he gave her a car. And a gigantic secret workspace. And a bunch of cool things.
• She knows that Oracle is no longer working for her, because drama is going down in O's personal life. But she has Proxy, who operates out of the Firewall, which is pretty sweet.
• Unlocked: Knowledge that Oracle's real name is Barbara. Still no last name, though.
• Unlocked: Knowledge of the gang called the 'Reapers'.
• Unlocked: RIDICULOUS CRUSH ON DETECTIVE NICK god god nicknicknicknick
